5 dead following suspected murder-suicide at spa in Norcross, Georgia
A gunman opened fire at a spa in an Atlanta suburb on Tuesday, leaving five people dead in what authorities described as a murder-suicide. Surveillance video shows a man walking into the spa and getting into an argument with someone, then opening fire, police said. "It appears he walked in, had some conversation with one of the victims and the shooting started," Norcross Police Chief Warren Summers told Atlanta television station WAGA. Summers told reporters at the scene that preliminary evidence suggested the shooting may have been a murder-suicide. Police described the dead as three men and two women. Harr told Reuters that the shooter was believed to be among the dead. Police said that they did not consider any suspects to be at large. Investigators say they believe about 20 people were inside when the shooting began around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Su Jung Health Sauna in Norcross. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is working with local police on the case. Norcross is a city of some 10,000 people located about 20 miles northeast of Atlanta.
